How do you treat a patient when you know your patient has seen many acupuncturists before he/she reaches you?
we will discuss how novel acupuncture methods: Motion Acupuncture, Neuro-acupuncture work; How acupuncturists use Electro Devices, Ultrasound and EMG/NCV in their practice to improve diagnosis and safety.
About the Instructor ZHENYU ZHOU, M.D., Ph.D., L.Ac, NCT-C:
A licensed Acupuncturist (NY, NJ, PA) and Senior Neuroscientist with a strong background in Neuroscience research. Possesses a strong publication record in Neuron, PNAS, and Journal of Neuroscience. Highly successful at training and mentoring students and post-doctorates in research. Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong research interest in acupuncture, synaptic mechanisms, pain, and neurologic diseases. Trilingual in English, Japanese, and Mandarin.
